Michelle wants 'healthy foods' yet since she has started this project she is constantly increasing in width, particularly in the derriere, a polite French word for behind. Sure its great to have a supermarket nearby; however, a weekly or every other week shopping can solve the problem of needing a convenience supermarket nearby. Consider the amount of time our ancestors including my mother, grandmother and grandfather and Great Grandfather spent in assuring we had food all year round. A walk to buy groceries could be from 1 to 2 miles--------planting a garden, canning, and storing was a continuous work of love. Nothing like homemade grape juice in the winter. These are these kinds of activities that lead to longevity. What's wrong with convenience stores? Yes there are areas that need full service grocery stores--------however, the people who bring them in must also know that their stores will be safe places to come to for buying food. (Did Michelle miss that?) Michelle the food policewoman. "There are 23.5 million people who live in “low income” areas that are more than a mile from the nearest supermarket. But more than half of these people are not low-income, and almost everyone in these areas--93.3 percent—drive their cars to the supermarket. On average, they spend 4.5 minutes more than the typical American traveling to the supermarket."
