Andrew....Make that "read"...not "really" ....my fingers just have a mind of their own these days...they stray and sometimes don't pay attention to a thing I tell them ...Hubby never does, but when it's your own fingers not paying attention....well, then... <gg>

", , ,well read, brilliant, wise, stubborn and opinionated...<ggg> , , ," is your description of some of your husband's many qualities

Well, well, KLP: I think that I can lay claim to at least two of them myself.

I think that I will leave it to others to determine exactly which two.

But Fred should take the time to share more of his thoughts with the rest of us. Why does he restrict sharing those ideas only with you?

'course, I really do understand. I don't like to share my thoughts with many folks either and my wife already knows them too well. This means that I can enjoy my long periods of perfect silence.uninterrupted by the requirement that I be civil and social.

More and more I understand and appreciate why some of the monastic Fathers of the early Church retired to the desert to live out their lives in isolation. This must have been their only way of retaining their sanity.
