I would not short Gateway.....
Gateway will easily meet the earnings estimates this quarter.(.44)
You can take it to the bank.

good advice dan. i'm going to go with $30s, but not while the stock price is $30. when it goes near $35 then i'll go with jan 30 puts...

Dan, would you like to elaborate? What would be a better play if I think GTW would easily fall to the high to mid twenties.

Today's action wasn't all bad. It would be preferable that we hit resistance right at DELL's announcement.
