That wouldn't be the most reasonable ways to get around the debt ceiling law, but they have the advantage of actually having a basis in law, unlike the 14th amendment claim.

Of course the problem is that they leave us with spending spiraling out of control. Also they would be an attempt to inflate part of the debt away. Creating new money to cover government spending is a very bad idea. Keep going down that route and you wind up with hyperinflation.
