Intel grants stock options to its key employees and the 162,000,000 shares represent, in part, shares that Intel is obligated to sell to its employees when they decide to exercise their vested options. It's really that simple.

Get with the program - read their 10Q form and ask somebody how large corporations work - you'll learn something if you have half a mind to (you do have half a mind, don't you?).

So, AMD has cut back their PC orders from your shop, eh? Well, now you know how tough things are over there in Austin. Cheer up - maybe they will order some more next year. Kinda tough - AMD's stock tanks your investment and AMD then cuts into your business. But you love them just the same.
