Too bad, such a waste of talent! I was hoping a change of scenery for Purcey would have resulted in his reaching what always looked like some significant upside potential. I recall some years ago sitting with Purcey's parents in the Yankees spring training complex in Tampa Bay excitedly awaiting Purcey's appearance in the late innings. He exhibited wildness then and, unfortunately, in the intervening years he has not been able to curb his errant ways. Sure wish things had panned out differently for Purcey!
