The right can't win in this area. Obama's self-proclaimed "spiritual mentor" of 20 years was a hardcore racist and America hater, but this was completely buried by 99% of the press. If a Republican just goes to church every Sunday, like Obama supposedly did BEFORE being elected, they will be painted as a religious nut anyway.

The socialist/fascist/statist left must* be defeated if this country is to have any kind of prosperous future..* I feel a rant coming on... The spirit of America is being slowly crushed on every level.. From petty little local "mini me" regulators shutting down little kid's lemonade stands, to TSA goons stripping grannie's underwear, to urban cowboy SWAT teams busting into private houses and blowing away innocent citizens, to ecofascist greenies strangling energy production and removing consumer choices, from cars to lightbulbs, to the elitist government unions, to the gangrenous federal monstrosity and its "czars" and tens of thousands of bureaucratic parasites busily dictating, regulating and controlling practically every aspect of our lives, to the crony "capitalist" corporations in bed with the pols and feeding off the taxpayers, the list goes on and on.... It all adds up to killing what this great country is (was) all about. The joy of freedom and prosperity and creative endeavor cannot live and survive, much less grow, under the increasingly heavy burdens we're forced to live under. And add to the mix the massive deficits and looming fiscal disaster staring us in the face. If today's youth don't wake up from their iPods and video games and fight to reclaim their future, then their future will be looking bleak indeed. It's too bad for them that the public education establishment is set up to brainwash and destroy their ability to see the truth of what they will face in the years ahead... End rant...

For just one example, the main reason that Harry Reid got re-elected was that Sharron Angle was portrayed as a holy roller screwball. Her limited government message got lost and we got saddled with Dingy Harry as a result. Don't forget that Reid was totally supported by the SEIU and generously funded by Steve Wynn, and other casino owners who are now screaming like pigs entering the slaughterhouse. There is a symmetry in that. "Under the bus once we get what we need."
