Wow, I am totally amazed. Japan must be a really good buy now <g> because it is the only store inwhich people are shopping tonight. All asian countries are in the red as of 11:30 central, EXCEPT Japan.

I guess their economy is OK afterall.

I read about the short squeeze in a news wire. It made sense to me. Japanese bank stocks had pulled down the Nikkei and so we are now witnessing the reverse. No one is paying attention at this stage to the exact details that Govt will follow for the intervention and the systemic repercussions these details may have around the globe -- like selling US Treas will certainly be chilling.
