When EU was being constructed there was a talking of European countries losing their identities. Well, there is people who gives a damn for cultural identities, you know. The answers were: No. Italians will be Italians. Germans German and the French, French. They will continue being the same as they were before. As you can see, everyone wanted the benefits of unionization but all of them wanted to keep their own 'cultural identities' No one told the Portuguese they had tog et the ways of doing things like the Germans. Greeks need to act like the Dutch. The results are there plain for us to see.
