If the Nikkei moves above 20,000, the Japanese market will exit it's bearish trend.

I think I read where Excite booked a lot of 'one time' big sales last quarter, like AMZN and some music company (?). They did not expect that to be matched this quarter. I could be wrong. Ad revenues are always a little dicey because companies usually don't take long term contracts and are fairly quick to increase or decrease ad purchases as they see fit.

Now that we have some new data in (i.e. the sequential month to month revenue growth for Excite far exceeded Yahoo's...and Excite has comparable revenue figures for the month).

Explain the following:

Why would I pay nearly 6x Excite's market cap for Yahoo?
