I agree with many of their policy goals (smaller government, lower spending, balanced budget, etc.), but I'm very uncomfortable with their populist fervor. Where I am a conservative with a classical liberal bent (or maybe the other way around), many of them look to me more like revolutionaries, determined to cripple the federal government to (they hope) bring about their vision of utopia. I don't like populists, demagogues, revolutionaries, or utopians - left or right. That makes two of us.
