Truth is some of us disagree with much of what he's done the last year or so. It's not personal, it's policy. I never said it was personal. In fact, I suspect you all like him. However, your expectations are set so high.....esp. given the political climate these days.....one has to wonder why you are surprised that you are disappointed. After all, the economy is still weakly recovering from the worst recession since the Great Depression......where unemployment is still very high. The GOP caucus is in chaos with an element that's as fringe as the Norwegian bomber and one that the R Speaker has little control over. Regional differences in this country are at their worst levels in over 100 years. Two major credit agencies have the country on credit watch and are threatening to downgrade the Triple A credit rating that the US has maintained since 1917 and which if enacted, will raise interest rates for everyone. The Rs, in general, want to eliminate SS and medicare and are pushing hard because their corp benefactors will cut them off if they don't. And to top it all off, Americans refuse to take any responsibility for the current mess.......its as if they didn't vote for Bush.....TWICE, didn't spend beyond their means and didn't vote into power a divided Congress in 2010. And then you wonder why Obama can't deliver everything you like and that he has to make unpleasant policy decisions that don't make you happy? Excuse me, but given the circumstances I think he is doing damn well. If you disagree, then vote for Romney or Nader or Sanders next year. That's what a democracy is all about. However, IMO, this non stop griping doesn't benefit anyone.
