Obama is the sheriff. Istead of locking them up, he's told them (and convinced the city council to go along), "Okay, you can rape some of them.". See this lies at the heart of your problem.........Obama is not the sheriff nor are Rs criminals but rather tehy are officials elected by the American people. You can't be a democracy only when its convenient. Which you view as a compromise. Other than getting the next ass-raping moved PAST his re-election, what did WE get? I don't see it as a compromise but as a necessity. When you are president, you try to please as many people as possible but above all else, you try to keep the Union together and that's what Obama is doing. He may fail. This grand experiment called the US of A may fail.......but Obama is giving his best......as I would expect of any good president. And dude, get clear.......I am not happy about this mess. I don't like this bill any better than you do. And frankly, I am not sure I want to be an American any more. But I am not going to fault Obama for that......nor for the mess he inherited.
