Thank you for your commentary on my question. you're welcome. One comment I would add to this is to block foreign nations who want to take over American companies. i would block a foreign government from buying american companies too. i don't think many would bother though. buying a company is pretty expensive. if they want secrets, it's much easier to steal them. Since I have been on SI-----------I have seen a number of companies leave America------------either because the corporate board sold out to the foreign investors or were taken over from the inside by similar as they used our laws and our courts to take over the companies. this is a different matter. i'm not against foreigners buying american companies, only their governments. companies have to be free to leave america if they choose to. we need to have the discipline not to give them reason to leave. with the incentives i gave you in an earlier post it's doubtful that any would choose to leave. if we go further down the socialist road, more and more will choose to leave. often it will be for their own survival. Something is wrong with this picture. what's wrong is that we've poisoned the business environment with socialist policies.
