Actual war costs were closer to $1 trillion or a little more than Obama spent on the one-time stimulus which did nothing.

Do you think the 2003 Iraq War was pissing money away?

I think the 2003 Iraq war liberated 33 million human souls from acutely abusive oppression and offers them an opportunity to live free.

THE RECKONING The Iraq War Will Cost Us $3 Trillion, and Much More

So, he's claiming that without the Iraq War, we wouldn't have had to spend the roughly half Trillion we spent each year on the DoD? at all? We could have saved the money?

You know, we do need to pay for an army and a navy whether we are at war or not.
