THX... last article I read on Soros was that he was out of gold including stocks and high cash... along with returning money to clients and going private... basically playing close to the vest with his own dough.. I am still not sold on the miners LT... bullion yes.. CEF a better bet than GLD etc... I'd find you the link but SI advanced search appears to be toast for now..

He only bought 7,100 shares of Goldcorp according to this link ... do you know if he's bought more since? wallstcheatsheet.com Hardly makes sense he'd even bother owning $350k of anything -- assuming he's got a $1B portfolio, that's .035% of it -- hardly the allocation rules we've been discussing here lately. <g> Nevertheless, he's got a few holdings of that size in the 13F the article links to ... (search for 'gold') sec.gov Curious.
