As new materials develop, it is a matter of time (and perhaps not that much of it) before more structurally substantive items are "generated" in this manner. It is interesting to consider these developments in the context of Feyneman's "Plenty of Room at the Bottom" (1959) or Drexler's "Engines of Creation" (1986?). I'd give anything to be 18 again with a career choice to make ;)
