>> CIGNA and Humana are scheduled to report earnings this week. The three companies that have already spoken -- UnitedHealth, WellPoint and Aetna -- earned a combined $2.51 billion from April through the end of June, more than analysts expected. On a per share basis, their earnings were up more than 17 percent on average compared with the second quarter of 2010.

>> Those results were no anomaly.

Right. 3 of the 5 biggest total a MEASLEY 3B in profits. That is NOTHING. ALL COMBINED will total maybe 15B for the year, if that. 15B is NOTHING compared with the 100s of billions wasted by Medicare and Medicaid every single year.

You're talking maybe 0.5% of the ENTIRE HEALTH CARE ECONOMY. For that we get financing of more than half of that health care, efficiency in operation, and competent management of the health care finance system.

I cannot imagine a better bargain.
