W/I the past 10 months I have completely switched from windows to apple for my home office, wife, my travel laptop, after having used windows since when the first IBM desktop was launched.

Have already determined that my two offices shall go w/ aapl w/i next 10 months.

Shall do same for my in-laws n my mom.

I use outlook, ms office, quicken when using windows ops system.

I now use apple's iCal / iAddress, ms office under apple os, and (for windows) quicken under
"parallel" windows 7 virtual machine under apple os.

I have had no issues with opening any of the legacy files created under windows.

The windows 7 PC games run faster on apple virtual machine, and the windows 7 does not seem to accumulate register errors under "parallel".

Conclusion, Microsoft is to apple as rim is to apple or android, dead company walking.
