Get serious. It takes hours to charge an EV and their cruising range is 100 miles or less. Unless and until that changes in a major way, they will remain commuter vehicles and toys for rich greenies. Trips from Seattle to Mexico in a plugin EV ain't gonna happen. It's already happened many times. We have had some rallies here on the west coast and the first Roadsters did it over a year and a half ago. Getting much easier with all of the charging stations rolling out now.
