Yes ! It sounds very interesting. Essentially I have a diversified portfolio, and I sell calls to supplement the dividend income it yields... (or perhaps I should say the dividends supplement the calls)

Perhaps the weighting of energy stocks is adequate, but I shall take a look ! I don't know what the regulations say, but I can write calls on US stocks so I imagine you can write calls on Canadian stocks. I use TD.

Incidentally, the value of my diversified PF is taking a hammering in this down market. Writing calls affords little downside protection but I'm satisfied it provides adequate cash flow for me, leaving my PF intact , although not unchanged !
