I've always like Qupe. Make rhone style wines...my favorite is Olios, a classic rhone blend. Haven't had it for a while. I think this vineyard might be one of the original "rhone rangers" along with Graham at Bonnie Doon.

Fess Parker is reliable but I am not up to date since the "Sideways" madness for pinot noir. MP

Foley, Shoestring, Gainey, and Lafond are personal favs, but there are tons that I have not tried. Zaca Mesa and Firestone are the big guns and worth a stop if they are on your way. Fess Parker is the next biggest, and also worth a stop.

I live in Los Olivos part of the year. Tensley and Blair Fox are two very small wineries that have received good press.
