Desperate Google trying to get POS Android tablets ... out of dumpsters.

Why don't we try to set a good example by backing up our assertions, shall we? :)

1.3% of Android devices now run Honeycomb (as of August 1). As of July 15, 135 million Android devices were in use, so add another 7.5 million and we get 1.3% * 142.5 million = 1.85 million total Honeycomb tablets in use after 7 months. We saw an estimate that Apple only had 60% market share in shipments for Q2, meaning Android manufacturers stuffed 5 million into the channel. Are the other 3.15 million units that didn't sell in retailer inventory? Or in dumpsters?
