Message 26786981 - yup, probably got some the same day, there were a whole bunch of fills one to six board lots in size, juggling nine or ten active accts at the time if memory serves ... now only seven really, consulting on two, and let one go dormant for long-term keepers

Allocation is kind of a personal thing, but putting an upper limit on cost of a single position seems obviously important, my limit has always been one-eighth of pf which is twelve and a half per cent which is pretty close to ten ... rarely exceeded except when pf was radically slimmed down due to cash calls off-market - once i had near fifty per cent of pf in mmg which tanked for twenty per cent, but it was not a major serious amount of money as i'd cleaned everything else out for property ... it also came back to a gain just in time for another cash call, which was nice

Right now ort/a.v is a hair short of twelve per cent of main acct ... and underwater by seventeen cents as well, aargh
