<"The deregulation is the same as when the phone co deregulated. You do
not have MCI, ATT, etc. coming in and adding new lines">

kw,

Yes...the business basics are the same.
The difference between MCI, AT&T is cost. communication is derived and delivered by equipment's, satellites, microwave etc. . The cost of generating power in KWH is a constant expenditure in order to supply customers for end use. The question was.....what makes those small companies like KESE, to buy or generate power cheaper then the already existing utilities.

Another item to consider. Enron (ENE) is a major player in the energy market in the U.S. They have begun airing adds for alternative means of buying electrical power in California. These guys are heavyweights
and are spending serious money on broadcast media to enlighten the public that there is other choices purchasing power. This could be thought of in two ways in regards to KESE. One is that they will blits the market knocking little guys like Keystone out of the water, the other is that lesser known players like Keystone will gain tremendously easier market penetration by having Enron breaking through the barrier of unfamiliarity. Keystone's published intent is to gain one percent of California's market. Obviously, I'm betting they can. Should be an interesting day. Scott
