Trickle down isn't about pulling down the rich, its about letting them thrive, and letting others become rich, so as to generally produce economic benefits. Avoiding pulling down the rich (and those striving to be rich) does provide widespread benefits, but widespread isn't the same as universal. Some people always won't do quite so well, sometimes its their own fault but not always, there will be people who try hard and still don't succeed. Economic freedom is massively powerful and beneficial, but its not a cure all. No set of policies will produce heaven on Earth.
