What was your age for SS full retirement eligibility? Probably 65. Mine was 66. Changing the program to adjust to changing life spans and other conditions is NOT breaking promises.

The last president to cut social security benefits was Bill Clinton. 85% of Social security payments became taxable if your adjusted gross income was above a certain level. The amount of payments subject to tax was lower than that prior to Clinton.

How has your COLA's been under Obama compared to Bush?
