i want to give a warning about Eric just as he has warned about shale gas estimates. eric, to whose post i am replying, dislikes ng and oil intensely. he posts things on bdbbr that might appear as news to some who do not hang out much on bdbbr, but they are almost always something negative about shale ng/oil fracing or related topic. eric loves electricity generated by wind and solar, and likely is very depressed (my editorial) by the low cost of ng coming from shale deposits all over the usa. it does not seem to be of concern to eric that wind and solar generated electricity are so expensive and will remain very expensive for decades.

this is just a warning, and it is left to the reader of eric's posts to decide for themselves what eric's view is now or in the future.

Eric, This is part of a campaign by the "Greens" to raise the price of NG so the projected low NG price won't compete with or prevent the proliferation of solar, wind, cellulosic ethanol etc. These people are our friends, so we should probably be sending checks to the Sierra Club. Just more "spotted owl-type nonsense."
