Is the size of government measured by the total of how many people are employed by government? Or is the size of government measured by the total amounts of its budgets? How many jobs have been eliminated from congressionial staffs fore instance? How much money has been cut from the congressionial budget?

Seems to me you like to cherry pick particular articles that you believe you can use to back up your brain dead liberal propaganda. Have you yet read David Mamets 2008 Village Voice article" I used to be a brain dead liberal," Or his book The Dismantling of the American Culture?

"Government is shrinking. State and Local Government has lost 577,000 jobs since September of 2008."

Maybe some of them found employment with the federal government. Federal employment was 4,206,000 in 2008 and went up to 4,443,000 in 2010 for and increase of 237,000. The federal government is expanding.
