I agree. Either we will see a rash of downward eps revisions or the stock will be carried much higher once all the the SEA panic is over. My guess is with the latter.

I don't put too much into that $.39.......

It was probably prior to the last earnings report and who knows, it could be an estimate established in Feb. or Mar.

I've actually seen the estimates on First Call revised DOWN from $.48 in mid Oct.

I read this once that estimates for future Q's are usually revised up too much after a good Q announcement and slowly brought back down as the Q unfolds.

Probably going to be a mute point after AMAT announces $.50 or $.51 on Thu.!!
