Completely unnecessary. I own both Cymer and JMAR. Most intelligent investors own JMAR for reasons other than XRL (such as micromachining, disk-drive head inspection, and lightknife technologies).

I own Cymer because they are the dominant light source in the industry at .25 microns. They have a good chance to be dominant at .18 as well. I can't see how they won't earn at least $1 in 1998, and therefore the stock is cheap at $20 (I bought in at $19).
