Enerplus Corporation (ERF)

Selling my higher priced shares of ERF and plan to reenter at lower prices (You mentioned $22.56 on 8/10 was your last purchase). That's my target range. I am finding more attractive, high dividend payers in other sectors. This seems like a good opportunity to harvest the losses and move the proceeds into these other value buys.

Other candidate buys I am looking at do not have the Foreign Tax withholding. Money will probably find a home in another sector.

ERF: Adding to my position today. Gas/oil producer moving to more oil. Will current distribution (which is .179 going ex on Feb 8) yielding annualized $2.148/$24.23 , or 8.9%) hold up? I do not know. However, stock's come down enough to where I'll chance an add to my small position.

Fwiw, yesterday sold all ERF in taxable account and immediately rebought in ira. This to eliminate $15% Canadian withholding for stock in taxable accounts.
