Excellent synopsis of the long range structural problems of our system as perceived by someone who is not affected by short term survival problems. It's a lot like being in an airplane that really needs a new paint job, has shabby carpeting and an outdated navigation system. And then arguing that those items need to be addressed immediately, never mind the fact that we are in a crash dive with a few seconds to live if we don't figure out a way to bring the nose up a little.
