I agree GZ, maybe get a gap down on the "bad news" of the debt downgrade, but IMO the uncertainty behind a downgrade or no downgrade was a lot worse. I think a large portion of the selloff we saw was attributable to S&P leaking their downgrade decision to their favored clients last week. The rest of the selldown was from currencies like the Yen selloff, the Euro didn't sell down that much, not enough to cause what we saw. The retail investor will sell the open on mondy and it will be bought...and we reverse upward. I'm glad S&P didn't sit on their decision for weeks or months with that constant uncertainty.
