You should try to figure out what Roosevelt meant by that because he said it, not me. I might not have used exactly those words.

I'll add that I think its significant that once a liberal President didn't hesitate to use language that liberals of today bristle at.

I think that may be one of the things that Ronald Reagan was talking about when he said he hadn't left the Democratic party, it left him.
