Ted the honest truth is spending keeps going up, and the left, and even "moderate Democrats" in office, would have a fit if anyone started to seem to take the idea of actual spending cuts seriously. The Democrats offer "cuts", that mean we go from spending X, to spending 10 percent more than X, but its a "cut" because they wanted to spend 20 percent more. That's not a cut, its just a smaller increase, and its still a large increase. When they get serious and start talking about actual top line cuts (even if only in real per-capita terms) let me know.
