that's quite a solution to turn the drive upside down :)
MAYBE, if you cloned the drive instead of imaging it, you would not have to figure out the hidden partition problem. EASEUS says it will clone hidden partitions.

Since you're set up to recover from any problem, there's hardly any risk.

I found a way to eliminate 90-95% of the vibration from my Western Digital Passport 1 TB USB drive. Remove the tiny rubber feet on the bottom of the drive. Bingo, 90-95% of the vibration is eliminated.
