Elamex hasn't even begun the application process for approval by the FDA. I think this will be a saving grace for Amgn as they move slower than molasses in Jan. for approvals. Plus it doesn't sound like the patent infringement suit has been settled just yet.

News was out on 17th. Amgn today 52 1/4 -- 11/16. If it were to have a terribly adverse affect on Amgn wouldn't it have been reflected in today's trading?

Anyone attend the hematopoeisis meeting in Lake Tahoe? I'm trying to get more info on LGND's presentation on an oral replacement for G-CSF.

Look out below. I have updated the SBH Alliance Table at
home.att.net to include more details of the little molecule that mimics G-CSF (with exquisite specificity) as well as a few recently (1998) issued relevant patents.

For more info, check out home.att.net
It's a place for info on STATs and Ligand's mimics (so far it just has the info on the one for G-CSF). I have also linked it to Links to Ligand's front page at home.att.net
