You obviously know plenty about drilling. The reason for the failure of the project seems to be the incompetence of the drillers. God forbid anything like that should happen in the USA or even the Gulf of Mexico. My competence may not be in drilling but it just seems obvious that putting cracks all over a large mass (the shale) might cause a large problem. But lets see if America can survive. The rest of the world will happily wait the necessary time for the result of this experiment. Let's see if the companies involved can stay solvent getting all that gas out while the price drops to 0.
