The question is, "Do you have confidence that the turnaround team at Borland is making the right decision here?". The markets apparently don't. OTOH, what do those idiots on Wall Street know?

I don't think for a minute the guy that's engineered Borland's turnaround has made a mistake here. This company has something he wants. There is no surprise here -- he has maintained from the outset that he would use Borland stock to get technology he wants.

Jack, remember that BORL has already lined up $25M for acquisitions, and has a provisions for another $25M. I only see this as good news.

I suppose everyone else has already calculated it but Thursday's close gives a VSGN/BORL ratio of .75 as against the .81 that it should be worth.
