zgoodman........I have not posted recently for a specific reason but I will reply to your question now. VVUS has been under a cloud now for over a month. Vinik's selling, the 79 year old man's death, lack of news (specifically UK) and increasing concerns over oral ED medicines have kept pressure on VVUS. Even with all of these concerns, VVUS remains a strong BUY! I just got off a conference call with an analyst who covers VVUS and knows mgmt. very well. He believes, as I do, that UK APPROVAL WILL HAPPEN WITHHIN THE NEXT WEEK! I know we have heard this before, but we truly believe that this time is for real! I think nobody believes in mgmt. right now and thus we are in a "PROVE IT" mentality whereby only positive news will jumpstart this name. I think most institutions way rather buy this name on the way up than continue to buy w/o definitive news and sustained upward momentum. As for the orals, that is old news! Yes Viagra(if and when approved) will be the first line of ED therapy, but until Viagra's effectiveness is PROVEN, we will not know it's true effect on VVUS's market share( if any ).
