"the mainland chinese, have been denied the newest american economic text books since circa 1949, and did not get with it as russia in signing on american-branded economists. they should consider themselves fortunate."

indeed, but not all are horrid, i,e., walker, volcker and a handful more, but the prevalent crop (and unfortunately the most influential) i.e., krugman, bernanke, geithner, greenspan, etc. are absolute, unmitigated disasters.

"btw, c2, do you not find the current state of the world a bit strange, with china exporting to america bridges as well as economic wisdom?"

it's a big complicated world and getting more so by the second. btw, don't eat your april grain in may, is just simple common sense. we have had so much grain, and of so many varieties, that we thought simple rules don't apply. they do.

simple, as in hoard gold in the face of arrant stupidity.
