J.B.C.- I'm sure that your response and thoughts are the same as many others. I also agree that if it weren't for attacks like the ones we've witnessed in the past, the stock would likely be trading at much higher levels, and thus, we wouldn't have experienced the dilution (more shares converted from Vantage Pt. via preferred convertables) that we've seen. You also make a very good point about the cash drain that is a result of these slanderous statements. Yes, there was financial damage and a lot of people have been hurt, especially those who got blown out unnessesarily who were holding the stock in their margin accounts. Perhaps the reason I am so quick to forgive is because when the stock was trading $8 - 10, I thought in my mind that I'd like to own "x" -thousand shares, but at that level, there was no way I could afford it. Therefore, the slide in the price has been a mixed blessing. In a way I'm saying apology accepted and thanks for the buying opportunity. Being a long term investor in this stock, I look out 2 years in the horizon, and am immune to what the slander campains say (so long as they don't fundamentally harm the business) because I am confident and comfortable with my own analysis and due dilligence. (Similarily, I made a pile of cash on Vivus when Barrons decided to run a short sided story on them because I was confident in the fundamentals, regardless of what Barrons was saying) Fundamentally, Osicom's business is strong and with their new, explosive products that they are rolling out, I am more optimistic than ever, particularly because of the potential of the Gigamux. Perhaps my eagerness to forgive is a little self serving, but after all the time and money I've poured into this stock and my expectations for their future, I am making the best of the situation by averaging down and getting to my goal holding (BTW, I "stole" another 500 shares today). If Osicom lost business or the big name contracts stopped rolling in, then I'd hold a grudge, but that doesn't appear to be the case, but we'll never really know. If I would have gotten blown out of my postion to the point that I couldn't afford to buy back at lower levels, then I'd be extremely ticked off. This situation demonstrates that Osicom is not going to stand for low-ball tactics for those who try to slander or discredit the company, so in the future, we should see a lot less of this. Hiram made an honest attempt to apologize and explained point by point the inaccuracies of his prior posts, so I'll let by-gones be by-gones (that's just my nature). Just because I said "I accept", in no way means that Osicom will be that forgiving, so he may still have to "sleep in his bed that he made". (I don't personally know and Osicom refuses to talk about litigation, if there is even any going on). I was the one going back and forth with him verbally months ago, with only time expensed and a loss of value in my shares. My compensation was the opportunity to buy at a discounted price on the open market as other investors decided to sell. As far as the writer for Barrons, there's no way I'd ever forgive him, unless we won a settlement of $500 million or so (that's just a number I picked out of the blue and does not by any means imply the amount they might sue them for) and they put Osicom on the cover again, but this time admitting their inaccuracies and giving Osicom a fair review.
