No, not too graphic. It was my ignorance to what's going on that jarred me. I did know Netanyahu was far right but hadn't known he was being turned against. Good for them.

I was in Spain for a month this spring, one of many visits over the years but this time it had been a decade since my last visit. This usually very gregarious, vibrant nation now suffering 20% unemployment and its attendant issues was different. They were quite angry with the US and it's own president.......there was a pervasive emotional depression like the fog that cloaks the GG bridge sometimes. it was jarring to see this in a country with a huge middle class who for a few decades basked with joy in its freedom from fascism fighting for its "middle class life" right now.

Idea off the top of my head as I write this: it would be really neat to get the middle class populations of the world talking in some way(Facebook) and commiserate AND also come up with some ideas on how to make things right again. I think it would be quite helpful and go a long way in changing the brush strokes with which we paint each other..
