Re the financial markets,

At some stage of all campaigns one side or the other does a surge and when so, the other side of the one side does a rout. At least that is how it generally goes in my on-line unreal tournament last man standing team death match games.

At such times, even though the two sides are perfectly matched in number of team mates, but given the position, the "rout" side just gets slaughtered in the target particularly rich localized environment, and their buddies cannot come to help in time to defend the geography.

Such times are invariably exhilarating, for all participants.

Armstrong wrote something about the commodity-proficient traders having some advantage in the current macro environment over stock n bond traders / investors, or I imagined such writing, but I do believe the computer gamers may hold advantage, on average, than the stock investors over the next many years as Dow : gold go to 1:1.
