It will be interesting to see what happens after it dawns on people there really is no reason to panic. There's a lot of cash on the sidelines. If it comes in to the market, I would think the market would respond positively. So the question we need to ask is, what will cause a positive impulse?

"the credit markets aren't seizing up"...Key point going forward here imo is do the corporates/munis/pref decouple from the treasuries. So far the likes of PGF are cracking and trading more like a stock vs a bond. The preferreds trade like bonds in a bull market and stocks in a bear. Watch the corporate / muni bids, my guess is that they will weaken considerably.
