Obama is surrounded by political hacks who are telling him that everything is OK, that the S&P downgrade means nothing, that the best solution for the economy is "stay the course."

Right Ten...only a week ago I was listening to a parade of TP folks telling us how we could manage our way out of an inability to close the debt limit...default didn't matter it seems...everything would be just fine...the rating agencies would proud of the TPers and re-affirm the debt rating...despite warnings from none other than who? Obama and people from his administration.

Just as you say, obama wasn't concerned about things at all...not with the with the effects of a default nor a downgrade...

I tried to watch CNBC after the market closed, disgusting. Maria was grilling some guy from S&P.....

I guess Immelt still wields pull at CNBC, it sounded like she was using reading from the same FAX all the other useful idiots were reading from...
