Have you decided what are the appropriate percentages to contribute? Is this after we help our retired parents and family members? Do you believe it best to add in the expense of the government acting as a middle man or do you contribute directly to United Way, Red Cross, Salvation Army...who have very efficient delivery systems already in place.

Now, to get back to the Capitalistic method of making money-buy low sell high in maximizing the profits for we stock holders. We have to recognize the system as is for our own personal use, and then contribute what resources we can in helping the "poor and needy." How dare you take advantage of the poor and weak by investing in companies that want to make a profit!!! Have you no shame!!??!!?? I fully expect to see you talking about your investments (long) in companies that try to lose money for their shareholders. It's the only honorable thing an old progressive activist can do.
