Mr. Malathion thank you for sharing something besides dead cats and lines on charts. We all know that these are code words for sucker bets. Now, your take on inside dealing on software co's etc. is something else. Not necessarily truthful but useful.

Good luck on your own compost heap. For years I have targeted 2% return per month on my heap. Primary info, primary process - all get mulched in. Wall Street buzzwords and stupidity provide the fuel to keep things warm. Its been nice the past 3-4 years to be able to beat goals. My sense is that things get harder here. Those technical players are in a zero sum game. I can't run my engine on zeros.

Meanwhile SGI is one of the few boxmakers reasonably priced considering its income statement and balance sheet. Obviously they have screwed up alot, or they would be over-priced like the rest of this bubble-mania. Now Co. is even threatening to buy back shares. Think about that for a second. Assuming that the Co. is a terminal suck, the shabbiest inside deal would be to put everyone's options into the money by merging with their own company (ie, buy back shares), and do stuff to get the momentum idiots to climb back on. Could be dead cat, could be live cat. You make the call.
