Obama was sent to the White House with a Democratic Congress to fix the mess Bush & Co left behind. Instead, the Democrats proved to be inept and ineffective, as evidenced by the long drawn out nauseating circus that produced a sickening health care bill. The result was a Republican takeover of Congress that emboldened the right. The country is not divided and partisan... 70% of the country wants a balanced approach to taxes, spending and deficits. What did Obama sign? A bill that is about as one sided as one can get. Its rather amazing that you can make those two statements up above. They couldn't be more contradictory: The country is not divided and partisan but the Dems and Obama can't get through Congress what they and you want. I am sorry, Cirrus, but your conclusions appear illogical. Either the country is partisan and divided, or Obama and the Dems are intentionally working against themselves. Which is it? Its not likely that its both.
